Electorate: Pudding Edition
I got Sims 3 via one of the usual methods. Then I got an empty neighbourhood from MATY and made some sims that vaguely sort of look a bit like my Electorate mob if you squint, mostly because in their hearts and their coding they are puddings, and as such it was a learning curve I had no patience for at the time. I made the Sims 2 versions over about a week, and I couldn't be bothered with that this time around. I've seen sims made by other people that actually looked really decent; I am not one of those people. Under the cut there are some photographs; if you are very, very sick of everyone's Sims 3 photographs then you can feel free to skip this one.

You can tell this one's Lauren because she's not wearing any shoes.

She doesn't like her picture taken, apparently. Perhaps she is ashamed of her puddingface.

She's also insane, which means she wears inappropriate things and screams occasionally. Fair enough, I guess.

That night, she was burgled.

I saw Angie in the park bashing on a burglar later on. I'm not even sure it's the same one. In fact I think Lauren's burglar was a woman, and this guy clearly is not a woman. Best friends should bash people who look vaguely like the person who stole your stuff, apparently.

It's Josh. You can tell this because he has a grotty jumper and hangs around with Lauren all the bloody time.

He often looks sad for no reason. That's Anthony, Kat, and Lisa in the background.

Here's Lauren going to work. Exciting, yes?

Colin and Lisa. I haven't played either of them yet, but whenever I see one somewhere around town, the other is always with them, and they are all jokey and smiley and happy and it makes me very sad because I am made of pathetic things.

I've realised that from the back, they're all very good looking. It's just the puddingface that makes it not so good.

These three pictures were taken on different days, by the way. They're always together.

How many generic "sim at the beach" pictures has everyone seen so far? In my defence, the scenery is desperately pretty.

All Lauren ever eats is jam on toast and ice cream.

"There's... something... wrong with my face. I can't quite place it."
Oh, oh, pick me, I know the answer.

Joshua checking Lauren out. I am very amused that even though I've only played Lauren and Angie so far, everyone behaves in-character.

For example, Tim and Colin snickering about something.

And again, because why not. (Lisa was just out of shot at the time.)
One thing I definitely like about the sims is the fat and muscle sliders. Finally Colin can be epic stocky and Tim can have his chub (the cardigan makes him look slightly more chubby than he really is, but still). If only Tim was several inches taller; it'd be lovely.

Angie is overly emotional and as such has a social interaction that means she can randomly cry and people think she's being friendly. It's a really cute animation, though. I want it for Sims 2.
I quite like this game. I'm not sure I'll still be playing it several thousand years later like I am with Sims 2, but then again I didn't think I'd be playing Sims 2 for the rest of eternity either, so. We'll see.
(I know I've been picking on the puddings quite a bit in this post, but from what I've seen of other peoples sims, the pudding is pretty much entirely due to my lack of skills. Anyway, they're my puddings and as such are adorable and anyone who says different is clearly wrong on the internet.)
